Alpega- It is the end-to-end transportation and logistics software platform for Europe.

More than 90% of European trucking companies operate fewer than 10 trucks, leaving shippers to coordinate freight across a landscape of thousands of small, independent carriers instead of a handful of large ones. Rates change by the hour, tender cycles stretch across weeks, and invoices arrive without the context finance needs to approve them. Shippers end up making decisions on partial information because their systems were never built to share it. Alpega addresses these challenges by bringing shippers, carriers, and logistics service providers into one connected platform, allowing every party to work from the same real-time view of a shipment instead of piecing information together afterwards.

Alpega was formed in 2017, when established businesses including Teleroute, Transwide, TenderEasy, and Wtransnet combined under a single name and leadership structure. Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, Alpega now operates across 80 countries, linking more than 80,000 verified carriers and handling over 350,000 daily freight transactions. Alpega serves manufacturers, retailers, and distributors across automotive, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and chemicals, industries where delivery delays can have significant operational and financial implications.

The platform covers the full transport cycle under one roof. Alpega TMS handles load planning, carrier assignment, dock scheduling, and proof of delivery across road, rail, sea, and air. Transport Execution tracks orders, carriers, and delivery milestones from first assignment to final drop-off. TenderEasy compresses freight procurement cycles, turning lane awards around in days rather than months. Freight Exchange puts shippers directly into Europe’s largest digital freight marketplace, giving them access to a broader network of available carriers and freight capacity. Analytics & Reporting converts shipment data into operational dashboards that support decision-making, and Real-Time Visibility pairs with Smart Booking to provide live shipment tracking together with faster capacity confirmation. Reusable Packaging Management keeps pallets, crates, and containers moving through the supply chain instead of sitting idle.

“As the industry becomes more complex and fragmented, the aim is to simplify how transportation is managed and executed through solutions that increase trust and efficiency across the value chain.”  — Daniel Cohen, CEO

Three freight exchange brands sit behind the open carrier network that makes this possible: Wtransnet, Teleroute, and BursaTransport. Each carrier on these exchanges passes through Alpega’s verification process and Wtransnet’s quality standard, giving shippers a pool of vetted spot capacity when contracted carriers are unavailable or capacity constraints arise.

Alpega also provides services that support day-to-day transportation operations. Cloud Transformation is the move of legacy transport configurations to modern, scalable infrastructure. A dedicated partner network extends integrations across ERP systems, carriers, and third-party tools. Sustainability tracking follows scope-3 transport emissions by lane, mode, and supplier, and turns that data into reports built for ESRS and CDP requirements. Alpega has earned an EcoVadis Silver medal at the group level, a ranking that places it in the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide, and its TMS division holds a separate EcoVadis Bronze medal on top of that.

The platform’s business impact is reflected in customer outcomes and independent industry evaluations. A Forrester Total Economic Impact study found a global consumer-goods company using Alpega TMS achieved 150% ROI and an eight-month payback period, with process-cost savings above 80%. Analysts have taken note too: Alpega earned a Challenger position in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems. Brands including BMW, Heineken, MAN, Hilti, Bosch, and Pernod Ricard already run their freight operations through the platform.

Shippers know their systems need to connect, but ripping out established tools feels risky enough to keep delaying it. Alpega removes that risk by bringing planning, execution, procurement, and visibility together on one platform, letting companies modernize without disrupting the operations that keep freight moving every day.
