InterPro Solutions – Maximo Mobile Apps | EZMax Suite

The mobile Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) space has evolved from providing remote access to IBM Maximo® from a mobile device to the current state where mobile apps are able to extend native Maximo functionality to enable Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams to perform tasks ranging from routine asset inspections to complex repairs using their mobile devices — often with step-by-step guidance and accompanying schematics – even in environments lacking data connectivity.

InterPro has been leading this evolution since releasing its flagship app, EZMaxMobile, in 2009 and continues to redefine the mobile EAM space with the introduction of its EZMax Suite in 2021, the first and only mobile suite for IBM Maximo.

“Our mobile products empower Maximo users to be more effective and successful at their jobs,” comments InterPro CEO, Bill Fahey.  “This statement is at the core of what we do. Nobody buys our Maximo mobile apps because they’re cool; they buy them because they enable a compelling business case where the operational savings hugely exceed the cost of the solution.”

Importantly, the business case for the EZMax Suite isn’t based solely upon labor savings – what organizations find most compelling is how InterPro’s Maximo mobile apps impact KPIs such as Time to Repair, First Fix Rates, Asset Availability/Uptime, and how quickly the O&M teams (or their Vendors) are able to respond to Service Requests. By providing technicians with an app that makes it easy to locate the repair location(s) with multi-layer mapping, arm them with schematics and how-to repair videos by scanning the asset’s barcode or NFC tag, provide step-by-step guidance (and full repair histories) for asset inspections and repairs, and automatically log their time, InterPro’s apps have not only made technicians more effective at their jobs, but also more successful in a way that is visible to the entire organization.

InterPro’s EZMax Suite is comprised of five mobile apps that can either be used as stand-alone applications, or interoperate when deployed in combination.

EZMaxMobile, the company’s flagship product, is an award-winning work execution mobile app that supports work processes ranging from inspections, rounds, and inventory management to planned and unplanned maintenance, and leverages existing IBM Maximo business rules and Maximo workflows.  With over 25 delivered processes to choose from – all tailorable to an organization’s specific needs – technicians can do their jobs without having to jump from app to app.

EZMaxRequest allows community members to initiate and track Maximo work requests in real-time and communicate with the organization’s service team, eliminating time consuming phone calls, emails, and data entry.

EZMaxPlanner is an easy-to-use scheduling app that eliminates the complexity and long learning curves typical of IBM Maximo scheduling tools. Intuitive born-mobile navigation and powerful functionality – including batch assigning – makes schedulers and planners immediately productive and streamlines the entire scheduling and assignment process.

EZMaxVendor enables organizations to manage and schedule external service vendors like they’re an extension of their internal workforce.  Facilities professionals can eliminate surprises by establishing a shared understanding of work scope, cost, location, start time, and technicians with their vendors.  EZMaxVendor automatically saves all vendor-related work performance details, messages, and related documentation to Maximo.

EZMaxInsight is an easy-to-use reporting app that lets managers and supervisors easily create on-the-fly reports on their desktop or mobile device.  The product enables them to view up-to-the-minute Maximo data on work orders, inspections, scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, cost analysis, or ROI.
